RETAIL SPECIALIST - Arkansas Government Job (Murfreesboro, AR)

Summary The Retail Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a designated retail shop or store.
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Typical Functions Special Job Dimensions Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Knowledge of computers and software application programs.
Knowledge of database management, inventory practices, and basic accounting principles.
Knowledge of customer service principles.
Ability to creatively display merchandise.
Ability to coordinate, instruct, and review the work of others as a lead worker or to serve in a supervisory capacity.
Minimum Education and/or Experience The formal education of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience in retail operations.
Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
