Background:
The area process owner is responsible for the leadership and coordination of the day-to-day operations in the power and chemical productivity, maintenance and housekeeping.

Responsible to administer established policies and procedures and assist the Power and Recovery Superintendent in managing participate in area operations meetings to plan and regularly review workflow priorities and status of work in progress.
Manage daily plant perational issues.
Maintain high levels of product and service quality.
Maintain housekeeping standards by utilizing established and maintenance scheduling.
Manage hourly vacations and training.
Participate in the development of capital and project spending plans and activities.
Stay informed of issues in the plant and ensure effective Preferred:
Demonstrated leadership skills combined with technical knowledge and operations experience in pulp and paper manufacturing processes.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and listening skills.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
Strong technical knowledge related to the manufacturing process.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage and/or lead projects focused organization to meet its business objectives.
Requirements:
Technical education consisting of BS or higher in chemical or mechanical engineering, pulp and paper technology, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in pulp and paper.
Operating experience in lime kiln and recausticizing solving and other committee/team activities.
Hands-on experience in education/training, maintenance planning and scheduling with high degree f computer skills.
Direct involvement with customer service related to product and service.
