UTILITY TECHNICIAN JOB FUNCTIONS:
Create engineered wood panel products, using HMI computer driven equipment, to specified dimensions Operate process mechanical equipment in accordance with documented procedures to maximize production Monitor process and equipment to ensure integrity, quality and stability is maintained Conduct first line maintenance activities on the automated machinery and equipment Report defects or anomalies in a timely manner to maintenance and management team Respond to process changes and unplanned equipment stoppages in a timely manner Ensure records and logs are maintained and important shift information is communicated at shift change Participate in root cause analysis activities to improve product quality and process reliability Improve team performance through knowledge share and best practices Produce a quality finished product to customer specifications EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Able to read a tape measure for exact measurements Able to enter, navigate and read computer data Possess a mechanical aptitude Possess basic computer skills Excellent communications (oral and written), knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office KEY
