Industrial Engineer-327 Job Duties:
Interfaces with production floor and manufacturing teams Reviews documentation / specifications associated with product flow Utilizes production floor modeling for feeder line and device assembly operations POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The description is a brief summary of the position.
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for leading projects to achieve improvements in quality, productivity and cost in targeted work flows.
This engineer will be expected to use statistical analysis tools to drive their decisions and activities.
This engineer must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment with other groups in management, program management and production teams in process development and training.
This engineer will be expected to analyze and improve workflows in a high throughput medical device environment POSITION
Responsibilities:
Partner with Value Stream Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Engineering Day -to-Day Leader to analyze and propose improvement opportunities within targeted work flows Learn and apply all technical skills associated with Lean Sigma and other appropriate improvement techniques Assist with appropriate project selection/scoping for teams Lead process improvement projects and the implementation of lean concepts in targeted work flows Assist with appropriate project selection/scoping for teams Recommends design modifications and makes process changes where advisable to conform to production capabilities/limitations and minimize cost BASIC
Qualifications:
BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent Enrollment or completion of Lean Sigma Green Belt Training EDUCATION REQUIRED:
BS Engineering YEARS OF
Experience:

years experience in manufacturing and/or continuous improvement SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE DESIRED/PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Self starter, innovative, work with minimal direction Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills, oral and written communication and team skills Experience understanding proper documentation/quality requirements for a regulated environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and resources Strong written and verbal communication skills Click here to apply.
