This position maintains employee confidence, protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential, and maintains quality by following organization standards.
Responsibilities and Duties Lead the charge for ensuring all employees, customers, and visitors understand the importance of 100% safety compliance and maintaining an injury free workplace Work closely with the HR Team to provide support as needed on highly confidential human resources matters and special projects Welcome new hires by conducting orientation Participate in all Company led training initiatives Assist with events, employee communications, documentation and meetings Ensure employee files (with accurate documentation of discipline, offer letters, termination letters, Employee Change Forms, new hire paperwork, vacation requests, etc.
) are accurate and maintained Ensure timekeeping System and Payroll is managed accurately - responsible for bi-weekly approval for Texarkana Administer and implement Labor Relations and the Collective Bargaining Agreement Coordinate training sessions and seminars Compile and update training records Assist with recruitment efforts Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements 2 Years of Experience as an HR Assistant or equivalent experience Exposure to Payroll Practices Experience with Paycom Experience with Microsoft suite of products Effective HR Administration and People Management Skills Preferred Skills Experience in an aluminum or similar casting facility.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
