Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Summary Include the maintenance and repair of jobsite equipment such as semi tractors, pickup trucks, wheel loaders, cranes, excavators, large rotary drills, tracked dozers, air compressors, and other support equipment.
Primary activities include ensuring vehicle and equipment productivity remains high on the project job site.
The mechanics primary focus is preventative and proactive maintenance including a thorough inspection of vehicles and equipment to keep the machinery working as efficiently as possible, while still stressing and adhering to a high level of willingness to work under various site conditions and a readiness to travel to looking to grow and expand under planned and controlled conditions.
