QA Engineer(Paid Membership Site) - American Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company (Camden, AR)
Quality Engineer located in Camden, Arkansas supporting all programs.
Must have ability to:
Develop Quality Engineering Common Processes and Metrics that are aligned with AS9100 QMS, Program, and Customer Requirements.
Support the development of QE processes in support of emerging business pursuits and developing technology areas.
Conduct and Support Quality process reviews for compliance to company and contractual standards.
Supports the analysis of QE process performance Metrics for trends and develops effective plans to reduce or eliminate variation and improve organizational performance.
Develop and implement effective corrective and preventive action plans to prevent QE Process Escapes, Improve SAP derived data and metric sets and improve QE Competencies and Performance.
Utilize systems, electronics, and mechanical component knowledge during problem solving activities, along with LSS improvement tools/techniques.
Support QMS Organization, Program leadership and Customers through effective communication and coordination of quality status and issues.
Basic Qualifications 4 year Technical Degree, preferably in an Engineering discipline.
Organized with the ability to track multiple activities and prioritize tasks based on importance.
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE (Quality Engineer) Processes, and related Performance Metrics.
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.
Effective Communication Skills:
Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc Must have ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Desired skills Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques Demonstrated problem solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning.
A basic understanding of the MFC SAP business system would be a plus.
Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
