Job Description:
Be home with your family every night with Central Freight Lines! Central Freight Lines is currently hiring for Class A CDL drivers to operate a diesel or CNG powered tractor-trailer combination along specific routes.
If you have a CDL A license with 1 or more years tractor-trailer driving experience, hazmat, doubles/triples endorsements, and a clean record, apply online today! Duties/ Responsibilities Inspects tractor and trailer at the beginning and end of each day to insure proper working order.
Loads, unloads, stacks, and secures freight in a manner to prevent to prevent injury, damage or shifting while maximizing space.
Collects freight charges, COD's, and outstanding bills at time of delivery or pick up.
Turns in bills, delivers receipts, money, inspection reports and trip cards to designated areas.
Inspects and counts freight to determine overage, shortage, and damages.
Determines potential claims.
Secures new and existing customers.
Fuels bobtail and/or tractor trailer.
Insures that bills of lading are filled out properly and freight is marked correctly.
May perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement and Doubles/Triples endorsement and tanker endorsement.
Must have a minimum of 1 years tractor-trailer driving experience.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must pass DOT physical & drug test and have flexible sleep habits.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
