Summary:
This is an operational position responsible for product support, and rental to assigned customers.

Maintain knowledge of product lines, service and support capabilities, marketing programs and objectives relating to equipment rental to ensure effective representation of J.

Receive incoming calls Customer-facing with high level of energy to satisfy needs with solutions Understand importance and use of Lost Rent Log Phone Log - methods of use and management of calls (closure of task, release number, accuracy, follow-up, purchase order number, information to sales rep, etc.
) Accurate knowledge of available inventory Assist in implementing department marketing programs designed to increase customer awareness of existing equipment, services and new products.
Maintain accurate customer account information.
Work with the credit department to ensure that all customer accounts within assigned accounts are maintained and monitored in an acceptable manner to support retail activities, as well as assisting in the execution of all pertinent financial documents within the required time frame as required by Riggs management.
Credit approval required before machine shipment.
Ensure that personal conduct reflects favorably upon J.

Understand importance and use of Lost Rent Log Phone Log - methods of use and management of calls (closure of task, release number, accuracy, follow-up, purchase order number, information to sales rep, etc.
) Accurate knowledge of available inventory Understand and be able to effectively explain the company's RPP (Rental Protection Plan) policy Sell merchandise items from the store Working knowledge of construction phases Maintain the following information at the rental counter:
equipment specifications, current rental rates, current prices for new and used equipment, special offerings, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities Maintain an exceptionally strong working relationship with credit, parts, sales, rental and service functional areas.
Return all required customer signed documentation within three (3) days of receipt.
Process shop and customer returns Process surplus returns Demonstrate use of one Safe Source and NPR.
Demonstrate ability to inspect Reman cores and process back to Caterpillar Demonstrate ability to process a shop order, given part numbers Demonstrate specific OP and IP screens and reports Demonstrate Cash Handling Procedure Asset Management Maintain maximum attainable profitability for J.

Riggs on all transactions.
Understand and comply with established rental, sales and service processes and policies.
Manage demonstrations limiting time to two (2) days maximum, to credit approved customers only.
Merchandising Leadership Job requires traversing rough and uneven ground and driving to and from customer and job sites.
Physical Requirements Must be able to exert 25 lbs.
of force occasionally and 10 lbs.
of force frequently.
Position requires reaching, grasping, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling and standing.
Must be able to read and comprehend information received via computer terminal, specification reports, memos & reports.
General Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

NOTES:
Position is subject to extended hours as business dictates.
Transfers between departments are contingent upon realistic resolution of any vacancy caused by transfer from current department.

SALARY RANGE :

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
