Additional information about transcripts is in this document. THIS POSITION HAS INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Basic Requirements Degree:
behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes 1) working with employee assistance programs; 2) identifying and resolving personal concerns for people; 3) helping people with alcohol, drug, emotional, stress or other personal issues that may affect job performance; 4) helping employees or family members to find various service providers; 5) using treatment plans for clients through rehabilitation measures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
insert applicable field(s) of study . OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Qualifications at the GS-11 Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes 1) planning or coordinating employee assistance programs; 2) Counseling on problems with substance abuse; 3) implementing drug free workplace programs for various organizations; 4) advising employees or family members on various service providers; 5) developing treatment plans for clients through rehabilitation measures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:

Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07) to qualify for the GS-09 position. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09) to qualify for the GS-11 position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
